Ever since Paula password protected her blog, I lost touch with it. But today, coincidentally, I decided to check it, while taking a break from rethinking my space. Enough is enough with this room in LA- it's not working and it's ugly... Pat moved things around and I still have too much crap. It's time to let go of heartbreak and half made promises. At some time or other, these things gave me comfort and strength but right now, I want the fresh breeze and the view of trees to be the thing that reminds that I can be whole, and that I can make decisions and that I can be brave enough to just go, without any promises, without any clue about what is going to happen.

I woke up at 5 am this morning to get ready for a 6:25 flight out of Ontario. Sonny dropped me off. I stayed the night at his house on Monday night and didn't sleep well. I wonder if it's because I was closer to the window... I got to San Jose at 7:40, took the shuttle to AVIS and then drove the PT Cruiser to Aptos. The trees are amazing. I sat in Susana's dining room and just talked to her about her work and gave her my ideas. That's what I got paid for today. She asked if I would come back to think with her for a couple of days each month. Imagine, getting paid to help someone think out loud. (But I have revision work I will carryon with in the comfort of whatever place I choose.) I feel happy today. I only thought about work and I have a tiny hotel room that doesn't feel scary.
I had the special treat of dancing with Christina last night. Let me tell you, this girl is magic for my soul. We toasted to being full of ourselves and Si Se Puede. "If you don't value your worth, who will?" Erica said it first, I quoted her, and then Christina lifted her glass. We sat for a minute checking out the dancers commenting on how you could how old someone was based on how they moved their body. I love watching Christina dance, she's eternity. Not only because she is a complete siren, but she smiles unabashedly and lives completely in the moment. I could watch her dance all night. Her energy had me feeling so high, I tried it on. I was the extreme salsa diva, or Diva of the Ultimates, as Anselmo often calls me. Dips, and crazy turns and some super showy hip action. She and I stole the show. I'm not even exagerrating. The Peruvian told her I must be from Chincha. I must be getting better!
