8:00-10:45 I sat on interview panel. One of the candidates was extraordinarily thoughtful and articulate on school reform. When he said his dissertation was a qualitative study on the after school programs for African American boys, I just knew he had to be from Claremont Graduate. I looked through his resume and I was right- MA and PhD from CGU.

NOW: Reading my friend's blogs, thinking about what to wear to the press conference tomorrow. My boss said something like she didn't want us (Me and other manager) coming with our hip hop flair... (Jenn, I've been rebelling against the plain suit look.) Stretching. Texting back and forth with Ryan about the 25 % of democrats from Kentucky who say they will either not vote or vote for McCain if Hilary is not the candidate. In other words, they will not vote for a Black man. Apparently Ryan is concerned about this, but not surprised. He is also concerned with losing the check I gave him for 12,000+ dollars because I asked him not to deposit it yet and now he's worried he will lose it. My house is silent. Only hear the fridge.
